Travel Tips If you want the coolest place around try Chico Hot Spings Hotel. 30 miles north of yellowstone. Stay at least a couple of days. All the hollywood types stay here because they let them bring their pets. Wine list is like 20 pages long and really cool. They have cottages and a hot springs pool. Chico Hot Springs hotel in Pray Montana. But be sure you make dinner reservations when you reserve your room. On the east side of the park is Cody Wyoming and it's a great place to see. Buffalo Bill museum is fantastic and you can stay at his daughters hotels. The Irma. Lots and lots of wildlife on the drive between Cody and the park. Herds of deer numbering in the hundreds, elk, moose, bald eagle and mountain goats. What is amazing in the park is that prices for tourist junk are pretty cheap right by Old Faithful. At Red Lodge there is a great wildlife rehab zoo that you can see lots of animals up close. Hope you enjoy it, we were there 3 weeks ago. |
