Travel Info When on vacation, would you rather spend time at the mountains or at the beach? Travel Tips All your questions are tough! :-( Mountains have forests, lakes, camping, and wildlife - the beach has the ocean and bikinis. It's a toss up! Others I'd prefer the beach, since I live in Greece, where the sea is everywhere! But, let's face it, taking a bath in the sea is the most perfect thing you could ever do on holidays, since not only is it fun, but it's also very refreshing. Personally, if I don't swim in the sea one summer, I'll have a really bad mood for the rest of the year! The mountains-- I live in FL, going to the beach is really nothing special. Not to mention I associate it with being really hot and I don't like heat. :op The beach! Any beach... At a beach on a lake in the mountains----I want it ALL. :) Water minus the salt and sharks is a plus for me. I like resort areas. So mountains or beach is fine with me. I like to go to restaurants and craft stores and eat at sidewalk cafe's with nice soft music. I like the Lake Placid area and I like the Outerbanks of North Carolina. Away from hustle bustle of daily routine and automobiles and cell phones. Tough call. I love them both. |
