Is it a wise decision to migrate to US or British territory ? or any small island countries? |
Travel Info I'm from Asia, im planning to visit Palau, Saipan, Tahiti, Cook Island, Papau New Guinea, Bahamas, etc..and choose one where I can migrate.. I want a peaceful country where life is simple and there are a lots of beaches and close to nature.. Which island/country is the best choice? I havent been in any place that I mentioned. Can you suggest a beautiful place which is not so much commercialized? Travel Tips Hi Ping, whether it was a wise decision or not, only the future can tell. Indeed, there is such a thing as margin of error when it comes to crossing over to a "better" country, but this is small. Also, most people are able to overcome these obstacles when they meet them. By obstacles, I refer to one's inability to adapt to a new environment and culture, language barrier, loneliness (friendless,) financial difficulties, etc.. Take into account these factors when you research into the viability of immigrating to a new country. Now, looking at the brighter side of things, there are a plethora of new opportunities that await you in your new surroundings. These opportunities are either there for the taking, or wait for you to discover them. Either way, you have to work for it to make it work for you. This is my answer to your first question. Frankly, I am not knowledgeable in the field of int'l immigration, so I cannot be sure of how one can "start anew" in the places that you've mentioned. I take it that you know, or have, the means to go over. If I were to choose from the places that you've listed above, then I'd pick either Palau or Tahiti. These places are two of the most beautiful places on earth, and they are well-known for their diving grounds. A lot of world-class divers favor the waters of these two places, especially Palau. This is my answer to your second question. Are these two places already commercialized? Yes. But I believe that Tahiti is inhibitively expensive, so it's quite an exclusive spot. Not many tourists there except perhaps for the rich. Palau, on the other hand, is marauded by Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese and a gamut of other tourists. Others Not that peaceful - there is a real threat of drowning from a tsunami or hurricane in all the places you mentioned. If you want a place relatively free of people, look inside your own continent - I would try to find my refuge near to mainland in a similar beach-like conditions. I never wish to be trapped by a deluge of water, that too in current global warming climate You're leaving us, Kuya Ping?! *shocked* |
