Would you be considered a "loser" if you went backpacking across Europe? |
Travel Info at 27 and visited Spain, France, the Netherlands, Austria, and Italy? Travel Tips The thought of doing that is just incredible to me at any age. Why would you ever think you would be considered a looser by visiting those wonderful countries and doing it in such a carefree and casual fashion? To see, touch and feel these countries, to explore, to get lost, to get discovered, to experience the difference and the similarities is hardly a looser. To be independent and free in such lovely spots is not what a looser is to me. Go....do.....experience this wonderful world anyway you can and someday you will realize what a winner you are! I would recommend a rail pass and travel light.....when in doubt leave it out. Do your homework though and research where you are going...know before you go!!! Get a great guidebook, stay in some wonderful hostels and pensions. In Spain you can even stay in some castles! Hardly a looser!!! It will change your life forever. You will never be the same! Do a diary so someday you can reflect on what a winner wrote! Then when you return just wait until someone asks you what did you do this summer? You will be able to floor them with talk of your experiences. Ralph Waldo Emerson Others Where did you ever get that idea? Most would be envious! Anyone that says that you are a loser is extremely jealous or just plain ignorant. Ignore people like that. NO! I think that's awesome. I'd love to back pack across Europe. Take me with you please...(-: Not at all. Unless that's all you do and unemployed. I think you'd be cool just because not many people have guts to do anything but talk about stuff like that. Why would you listen to anyone who says such things? The only "loser" aspect of this person is that he or she thinks that the opinions of others is important in this case. I did it in my 20s my 30s and now my 50s. Do the trip, lose the so-called friends. |
