Travel Info Where is the best place you ever went for a holiday? Travel Tips las vegas for new year!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF FIREWORKS!!!! LOVED IT!!! super nice! Others ok. I'd have to say burning man. its the biggest party ever... last year 40,000 people set up camp in the middle of the nevada desert, about an hour north of reno. making it the 3rd largest city in nevada. I have been most places around the states.... and new orleans runs a far off second for a highly active holiday.... burning man brings much more to the table....never a dull moment.. look up burning man pics on the internet. lots of costumes, people with great attitudes giving away homemade pendants, rings,also chocolate, or services..... called "gifting" I roller skated....danced in exotic costumes, and touched green laser lights that crisscrossed above my head....... and watched a lifesize game of operation.... yoga and meditation are offered...as well as a walk on the wild side. thunderdome, is a recreation of the one in the mel gibson movie..... and some dancing contests involved flame throwers shooting fire over people in flame retardant suits.... lots of music.... people who want to interact and art cars (cars that look like pirate ships, rubber ducks, cheshire cats) that take you around to see all the art and camps.... best time ever!
