Hotels/Resorts in Sanibel Island, Florida??

Travel Info
We are interested in a hotel/resort right on the beach. It does not have to be extremely expensive, but we certainly do not want a motel 8. We will be going for 4 nights. Has anyone ever heard of Casa Ybel? If so, what was it like? Worth the price?

Travel Tips
oh yes! I stayed once at Casa Ybel in Sanibel Islands. It's a beautiful place and there's a swimming pool surrounded by several buildings/ condominium like which can be use by all neighboring guess who occupied those buildings. It's very close to the white sandy beach. Casa Ybel worth the price really. It's very spacious inside.

Here's a website you can check out to get some idea of what is available. Mind you, any place on any beach anywhere is likely to be pretty expensive.

While there, you must, MUST take the short hop up to Captiva Island to have dinner at the Key Lime Bistro. It's in the little "village" at the heart of Captiva. This restaurant has the most fabulous seafood meals, and a made-on-site key lime pie that makes every other pie in Florida taste like nothing by comparison.

Hope you have a great time -- it's one of my favourite places to go!
