When is the best time to book travel online? A hotel more specifically. A month before? A week before? |
Travel Info I would like to know if if is better to book a hotel sooner or later? Which would most likely get you a better deal. Also does the day of the week matter? Thanks in advance. Travel Tips It depends on where you are going and what the season is like...for me I am in Sydney so the seasons are opposite so to book overseas during the summer is more expensive...booking during cold or fall seasons are always cheaper..also late at night I find it cheaper..I don't know why but it always seems to be so. I also prefer to book about 6 months ahead of time because if you book too early you will get the first rates that are released. After half of the bookings are taken the prices rare reduced to sell the remaining seats or hotels for that time. I have heard that Tuesday nights are better to book for flights but not for hotels...it doesn't matter for hotels..its just when they are running their special deals...don't book during peak time..because no matter when the time you are trying to stay... they will increase it just during that time anyway hope this help. Others as soon as you can. the longer you wait the higher the price is. we are going on a trip to london in about 10 months and we are gunna book it in 6 months. the sooner the better. the day of the week does not matter. my aunt went to new york and she waited till the last week to book a room and she ended up having to spend alot more money It is always better to book ahead so that you don't waste time and effort looking for room availability. As to the best hotel deals, they can be acquired when you book direct to official hotel websites and not through third party booking engines. There are a number of hotels that offer the cheapest best rates online in their official site.
