well, i was looking for places 2 go this summer, and i wanted to hear wat you guys think is the best!

I'm from the US and like to go to Mexico - prices are good in general, and it is a nice change of pace and culture. It all depends on what you're looking for in a vacation.
Cancun, Cozumel and other places on the Yucatan can be party spots or restful, depending on the resort - and there are cool places to tour like Tulum and Xel-ha (sorry for the spelling).
On the west coast, there's Puerto Vallarta that has good beaches as well as an interesting town, Nuevo Vallarta is also an option - newer and further from the old town, but nice. Ixtapa/Zijuatinejo (sp) - Ixtapa is the hotel strip and Z is the town, also with beaches - just depends if you want tourist beach resorts or something more like Mexico. Costa Azul Adventure Resort is great if you surf or have kids - it's in San Pancho about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta. Cabo San Lucas is another option that can either be serious party-time, romantic, restful or family-oriented, depending on the resort. It is more desert-like there, so less rain during the summer. Cabo prices are closer to those in the US than other places in Mexico. Source(s): Go somewhere in Mexico every year.
