HeLp! I have the vacation is coming up blues! How do you deal with?

Travel Info
I currently only get 1 week vacation a year. It has been about a year since my last and I have 5 weeks to go. I just thinking about vacation coming up while at work and have trouble concentrating.

What can I do to keep my mind on my work.

(I am camping for 10 days in Acadia National Park, Maine)

Travel Tips
I don't know what your job is, but mine is a desk-bound job with computer access. To stop myself from browsing the web in anticipation of my upcoming travel and stop constant daydreaming, I do 2 things:

1. Most of my scattered thoughts are about preparation. I keep a pad for all the thoughts/lists I need to work on or an outline of my itinerary; once I jot them down, it's easier for me to focus on work again. I have the leisure time in the evening and weekends to get all my documents/maps/contact information together and I bring them with me to work. When I get too excited about a tour, I can scan over my itinerary for 30 seconds, then I'm satisfied for another hour of concentrated work.

2. A lot of my work is deadline oriented. It helps to check off the tasks due in the weeks before the vacation, but I also find it helpful to track projects due afterwards. I get an overall sense of my work and its timelines, which helps alleviate the panic of all the work I have to do before I leave and when I return. If I have the opportunity (and especially before a really big trip), I take a half-day the day before to have fun before the trip, and the day off after I return to decompress so I'm ready to face work.
