Travel Info Is Neptune beach fl. a good place for an family vacation? Travel Tips I'm from Jacksonville, FL (which Neptune beach is outside of). Neptune Beach is okay for a family vacation, but it will really depend on what you are really looking for. Neptune Beach is a public beach (meaning lots of people, a few bars, etc) with hotels with ocean views. It is what it is. If you want something a little more upscale, you can try Ponte Vedre Beach (about 10 miles down). Another place in the area is the Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach area. Amelia Island is very upscale. Also, if you like a nice, quiet beach, then I would recommend Little Talbot Island (a state park near Fernandina Beach) Others Lot of good eating for the sharks, especially children. Be careful! Florida is too Humid. Try Cancun. |
