Whats your biggest question/concern about traveling these days? |
Travel Info Yes, unusual isn't it ~ a question that asks for the questions you have on your mind about traveling out of the country these days Really though, a lot has happened since the events of 9-11 and I'm just wondering whats on everyone's mind about us Americans traveling out of the country to visit foreign lands. Anything goes, no holds bar. I've heard of questions involving the legal aspects of the country you're visiting, what to do if you're framed (a nightmare), where to eat, what to eat, what not to eat, the hygenial systems and so forth So lay it all out! Travel Tips Delays and missing connecting flights (and uncomfortable flights)...then lost baggage...happens to me far too often these days. That's my biggest frustration...and now the crazy no liquids rule that means I can't buy duty free in some airports...I can still remember how nice it was to hop on a plane...these days I dread going to an airport.. I work in insecure parts of the world so I'm not that freaked out by added security -- odds are still really slim to be a victim of terrorism...I'm much more likely to be in a car accident somewhere or get a nasty travel bug.
