I NEED SOME SERIOUS INFORMATION!!! Do you live in one country but work in another on a regular basis?!? |
Travel Info Can you (legally) live in the United States while you're (legally) working in Canada and vice-versa? If you live right next to the U.S./Canada border, it shouldn't really be too much of a problem to live in one country but work in another at least as far as distance & mileage are concerned, am I right in assuming so? Once you get to the border, what is the official procedure like? Do you get your passport stamped every single time you cross the border? If so, how long does it take to get everything in order so you can get to work or home on time? Thanks for all your helpful & valuable insight! Travel Tips You need to get a work permit for Canada, but fill it out with your US address and all the proper information. You don't need to go through the whole breaching ceremony every time you go to and from work. You can buy, or your work may give you, a special pass. You will drive up to the border, show the pass, and will be allowed through. It's as easy as that. You probably will need your passport stamped once, though. |
