What is the best beach and town in tennerife? |
Travel Info i will be staying in las americas so i would prefer something nearby within reason ;) Travel Tips Playa da las Americas is the place for young people but a nightmare for ordinary families - late night noise up the 'strip' area and on the beachfront until about 4am, then along come the dustmen, 7 days per week, happy, singing and shouting to each other - grrrrrrrrrr !!! at 5am. Los Cristianos is the same near the waterfront but much quieter as you head up towards the 'Hollywood' signed area. For a really quiet holiday head for the north of the island or go to playa del golf - near the airport - after all that exercise and sunshine + good food and wine you'll be in bed by 9pm !! Have a good holiday. Others The north coast is nice.. I have a gorgeous place there vut i want it to stay that way. Las Americas is a hive of scum and villainy Not keen on Americas (very noisy and grotty) - prefer to go two resorts round to the East to del Silencio, or above Americas on the West coast. the beach is shiTe volcanic rock plenty of bars,clubs and restaurants go over to Morocco its only a short boat ride away plenty of sand there Try Playa Fanabe, just past Puerto Colon. Much quieter, very nice and with some great bars and restaurants along the promenade, all of them very reasonably priced. Only a short walk from Playa de las Americas. |
