How should I entertain myself driving across the country? |
Travel Info I'm moving back to my hometown in Cali next summer from Maine. This will be 8-10 hours of driving per day for 5-6 days, therefore being extremely boring. I don't want to sleep because I want to watch the scenery/lack of scenery, and I don't want to space out like I did the whole time when we drove from Cali to Maine. What else can I do that won't get boring quickly? Travel Tips Bring along some of your favorite CD's. Pick up a couple audio books to listen to. Bring an audio recorder with you to record you random thoughts. My favorite game for traveling is to see how many out of state plates I can find while traveling in that state. IE How many out of MN plates will you see in Illinois? Others Listen to Howard Stern on Sirius! Burn alot of CD's and just rock out. go into local bars n clubs , do some crazy **** n leave .. if u dont have gps when ur beat. hi whenever i am taking a long trip, i burn some good driving music and just listen to that for the trip, keeps me from not feelin so bored driving. When i was in the military i travelled cross country quite a few times. It was about a 5 to 6 day trip for me and at times it was very boring. I would be listening to my radio, Cd's, sometimes stop to enjoy the beauty of our country. Also at the time i had a CB radio and talked to people on it. |
