I want to go travelling on the famous route 66 in USA?

Unfortunately it is no longer called Route 66 it is now known as Highway 13 kind of loses that romantic ring it used to have.
Also a lot of the road no longer exists but this may help.

a lot of it has gone by the wayside but many landmarks still exist. Rent the movie CARS and you will see a lot of it there.

Most of it has been converted into interstates.

You should have seen it a generation ago.
I know what you mean. I have only been on part of it from Sedonna to Los angeles by bus. I wish I coiuld have stopped off much more and stayed in more places. Amazing trip, very memorable. Take your time. Amazing scenery, people, time, etc.
