Because I'm always on the roads, I think my favorite vaction is home which I intend to do anytime.
The Black River area of Jamaica.
My favorite place that I have ever been is the Big Island of Hawaii, expecially the Volcano House at the Kilauea Crater in Volcanoes National Part. There is an amazing blend of adventure, romance, and mystery there. It's a place unlike any other on earth.
I just got back from Croatia and had a great time. I would recommend you go to the Coast, especially the southern part of Dalmatia. Look into Makarska, Omish or Dubrovnik. The natural beaches are absolutely breathtaking. Or you could try the islands of Vis or Hvar, also in Croatia. For a nice treat of past history visit the city of Split. It is very old and the downtown area is what used to be a fortress. Also look into the Krka National Park.
Google some pictures, you'll be amazed.
