Why does this happen?

Travel Info
Ok , im in high school, and my parent is in the military, and I lived in japan and I have traveled to alot of places, whenever people ask me where I'm from, and when I tell them, they either ask me alot of questions, or just dont say anything and stare at me as if I did something wrong. Should I not tell people where I have traveled ?

Travel Tips
No.. They just dont understand. Or they havent encountered this before.

Just politly tell them your history (where you've traveled and why).
I got the same reaction when I told my class, durign some weirdo psycology game.. That i went to 5 different elementary schools. They jsut kind of looked at me and asked where I was bron, thinking i moved from state to state.

Im from GA, where i've always been, its jsut we moved slowly up North to try and escape the urbanlife..

Dont worry about it. most people find it actually interesting to learn about different places.. =D
Others
Tell where you have traveled only to people who ask where you have traveled. To people who ask where you're from, specify just one place.
