Travel Info 2000+ poles are arriving in uk daily. is this good for england? Travel Tips No it's not good for England, and before any one say's any thing I'm not racist either. They are driving down our standards of employment rights. they are prepared to work for basically nothing they work through there breaks and put up with appalling working conditions ,because of this they are head hunted for slave labour by employers and people like you and me are made to look like we are to fussy for having standards and expecting a decent wage and a good working environment for our days work. If they had a mortgage and council tax to pay the couldn't afford to work like this. I know for a fact this is going on where I live as they are working in my community :) Others NOPE. Europe is vomiting and Britain is soaking up the mess. all is lost. its good for the scaffolding business...they always need poles. not at all. the situation is a joke. get rid of labour! No it isn't along with the thousands of other illegals and bogus asylum seekers..jeez what about the rest of the UK? they are arriving into the UK, England isnt the UK. they are working for buttons, making a mockery of the minimum wage and undercutting tradesmens prices with shoddy work..and when we thought it couldnt get any worse..in come the Bulgarians and the Romanians who think begging and conning is a way of life, wont work and jumping right on the benefits bandwagon and before you bleeding heart brigade says its not so, it is....i work in JCP, i see thousands of the everyday..builders with 8 kids and one leg, women with 8 kids working for a few hours and claiming tax credits and child benefit...thats the loophole UK doesn't = england, sweetheart. Edinburgh is actually one of the Pole magnets (forgive the pun :D). When you have two countries, one with lots of capital and not much spare labour (UK), and the other with a lack of capital and lots of surplus labour (Poland), and you let the two countries interact more freely, as has happened now that Poland are in the EU, you tend to get this result: @the labourers in the UK are worse off at first and the capitalists in the UK are better-off; @the labourers from Poland, now in the UK, are better off (rather obvious), and the capitalists in Poland are worse off (less obvious). |
