Travel Info Which town in the UK has the most hours of sunshine annually? Travel Tips Pretty sure it's Eastbourne. Others There's only one, Grange over Sands, recorded fact. its sounds crazy, i think newcastle coz its down towards the equator. He at the equator we recieve it daily Grange over Sands, they even have palms there:) But if u like sun, better go to Italy, South France or Gibraltar Vic Kaminsky's life & History ....er...Manchester ? In theory, due to its close proximity to the arctic circle, it would have to be Hollands Town on North Ronaldsay in the Orkney's, in any one 24 hours .... Obviously on a Clear day. As for annually, Eastborne has had the most sun (384 hours in one month) over a year, on the south coast of the UK has on average 1,750 hours annually. |
