That sounds like a journey from hell. You would be better off getting a cheap advance rail fare from Grimsby to Edinburgh with GNER (you can get tickets for 拢20-拢30 on super saver deals) then getting from Edinburgh to Elgin either by bus or train. Best thing is to get the oldest slowest bus you can find, even go public transport stop by stop that way it might take a year or more. Because if you think going to elgin in morayshire is a good idea you need time to think. You can get the Megabus by Stagecoach to Inverness that u book online. They are really cheap and if u book well in advance then you can get a fare as cheap as 拢1 return!!! Then u get a bus (probably another megabus)from Inverness to Elgin. They run a lot to Elgin. If u look it up on the net then you'll be able to book right from your nearest Megabus departure station to Elgin. Good Luck! I also agree with the guy above! I use megabus. Im from Inverness It is just as I thought. You will have to get a National Express coach to London and change for the one to Elgin. I would estimate that it will take at least 15 hours. |
