Travel Tips if you want to visit a city that has something for all give the capital city EDINBURGH a try it is easy to get round on foot. has lots of history and many other attrition's you will find that your days will go in very quickly. lots of good eating and drinking places for you to explore and enjoy. if yo u decide to go you will have great time. Others Try Ben Nevis The gift shop. edinburgh especially right now as its the edinburgh festival so there is a whole host of mad things happening there just now. Also Ayr it has a beach and a beach park, Burns cottage (where poet robert burns lived) race course, a farm park for kids and is geared very much to tourists. plus lots of places of historical interest. Edinborough and castles Edinburgh, Glasgow, Highlands, Inverness, Great Glen (Lochness) I live in Scotland and some of the most beautiful places are up on the west coast - Oban and surrounding areas are lovely and Oban is great for boat trips across to the Islands. There is also a place called Corgarff near Glenshie - we stayed at Jennies Bothy - where you can get boat rides out to watch the seals etc living in the wild. If you take your binoculars you will also see Golden Eagles. Hope this helps |
