Which local accent irritates you most ?

i personally think central lancashire and in particular burnley to be quite offensive to my ear drums ! and the most phoney accent has got to be aberdeen, so which accent really drives you up the wall ??

awwwwwww my mate comes from burnley and i love her accent .... i really struggle with people from glasgow as thye speak fast and it is very strong.. i have to say i love the manc accent

Anything north of Watford is whingy and whiney.

Anything east of London is common as muck.

Anything in East Anglia sounds like a yokel (Compooter !)

Londoners put it on most of the time.

Anything west of Reading sounds like Wurzel Gummidge.

I speak proper English from 'ampshire don't you know.
I think the Northern Irland accent is particularly harsh and very hard to understand, so is the Scottish accent.
The Plymouth accent. I live down here although i'm from the midlands, and it's really high pitched and irritating.

The Devonshire accent ain't so bad, just Plymouth.
