Travel Info What Scottland has better than England? Just a question...? Travel Tips Most things are debatable. It's agreed though that Scotland has better natural resources for its size than England....in fact, Scotland has the best natural resources in EUROPE (hydroelectric power, oil, soil fertility, the deepest water in the UK....in fact, in one loch [lake] in Scotland, Loch Ness, there is more water than there is in all of England's lakes combined). Scotland's often considered more interesting than England by foreigners. Think which countries are popular - Ireland, Scotland, Italy.....not England and Germany. We have amazing traditons, like traditional folk music; England has Morris dancing. We invented whisky (the world's #1 spirit)... Remember Scotland's original inhabitants are Celtic people with a close-knit family culture.....England was colonised in the second half of the first millennium (400-1066AD) by not very friendly Germanic peoples. Both countries invented cool sports though (Scotland - golf; England - football, tennis). Others Scotland - one T They are pretty much the same, really. the shortbread cookies way better lol hope this helps Blokes who sleep with their sisters, mothers and pets. we have Scotland no tuition fees, free care for the elderly and they sure know how to throw a party!! Free education. NHS services for all. An MP who serves, not in Scottish parliament, but English parliament, and is soon to be Prime Minister. |
