Travel Info There is 3 of us going on holiday between us we are allowed 45kg can we just put it in 2 cases? Travel Tips If you have a limit of only 15Kg, you must be going by Ryanair as very few others have such a low limit. In this case you can't pool allowances. You will have to spread it around 3 cases. Others Nope - you have to split it down into 'manageable' sizes. People have to pick these case up and there are now 'Health and Safety' Limits1 Exactly what previous poster said, she beat me to it. Probably not, as each suitcase has it's own individual limit, usually 20kg. Also, it's much better to travel 'light' & thereby give yourself more room/baggage allowance for gifts, souveniers or shopping in general. Don't go out & buy all new clothing but take old stuff that you can thow away, thereby lightening your luggage before returning home. This is also a wonderful excuse for getting a new wardrobe from abroad. :-D bon voyage! No - according to signs at the airport when I travelled the other day - you arent allowed to share luggage allowance in this way anymore!!! You could do it if you had 2 suitcases and both only had the allowance weight of one person in each! no sorry if you do that they will charge you excess baggage Check with the airline as most of them have an upper limit for the weight of an individual item of luggage. I think it is 32 kilos but I am not sure. It is health and safety to prevent staff getting bad backs |
