Others Perhaps more power is needed to move the train in that part ? The power is drain from the traction current rails through shoes on the bottom of the train. Sometimes as a result of the train bouncing around a bit, the shoes may lose contact for a moment, meaning power is cut momentarily. This happens in New York City subways too.
