My parents go on holiday in a Caravan .Which would you prefer hotel or caravan? |
Travel Info My parents go on holiday in a Caravan .Which would you prefer hotel or caravan? Travel Tips I hope some of the people who have answered this question read this:- I own a Static caravan on the East Coast of England, quite close to Filey and within easy reach of Scarborough and Bridlington. My van is 37' long and 12' wide has 3 bedrooms, bathroom sep. toilet and is double glazed and centrally heated. I take the kids up (up to 5) some week-ends and 3 children most week-ends. They have a ball - we have a club on site were they can go in - and the adults can see live cabaret and have a drink - they is very rarely trouble on site - and if there is we have a very good security. We also have the choice of eating out or staying in - we barby most of the time (come rain hail or snow) lol Although I would love to go into 4/5* accommodation - with the amount of children I have it is not feasible - they all have to have their own bedrooms - we cannot go into family hotel acc. Of course I would prefer 4/5* accommodation - I have been away with my partner (Cuba) and absolutely loved it. With my caravan we have the choice of what time we can come and go - meals and all. I would prefer a static to a tourer though - but everyone has there own price bracket and not everyone can afford to go into 4/5* luxury - at the end of the day - you make the holiday - you can be miserable in luxury as well as the poorer end of the scale. Source(s): Own a caravan - and been on 5* holidays Other Travel Tips you dont get many 5 star caravans.... A caravan (tourer, not static)...for the freedom! Defiantly hotel. Given the choice who would stay in a plastic 15ft trailer?! A caravan. It`s fun and it`s detached. (My campervan`s even better!) Caravan's are far too tiring or me. So it's definatetl a Hotel for me. |
