A weekend break?

My partner and I are looking for a small quiet place in England to go for a weekend break can anyone recommend anywhere, we ve done all the lively places but now just fancy a bit of peace and quiet?

Lake District - how about Yorkshire dales - or the Peak District.
There's a place called Pine Lake Resort - just outside Morecambe - near the Lake District - its Log Cabins - they have heated indoor pool - sauna etc., the lodges are around a man-made lake - a restaurant on site - or self-catering - very good facilties in cabins sat. tv

Lake district - inland in Devon or Cornwall...
look under bed and breakfasts on line ,( eg, oxford, england, b&b; )their are lots to choose from, also you could stay in a castle there. have fun.
All depends on where you are and how far you want to travel.
