Travel Info
I plan to visit the UK in a few months and I heard it's pretty gay friendly but what would be the best city for lesbian clubs/bars? Oh and how are the hostels there? Scary?

Travel Tips
in london you can go to soho, its fantastic there. edinburgh has a few gay clubs and there are some in most towns in the south, especially Brighton. the north seems to be slightly less accepting but I had a gay friend in York and he used to have a great time.
Others
it really depends which area of the uk your planning to visit.
are you travelling north or down south.
iv no experiance on london, but it is supposed to have really good gay clubs, other than that theres always brighton.and manchester.
You'll find most europeans really lax on the whole gay scene. It's not a big deal to them. In my experiences i'd rather stay in nothing but hostels, yeah you have to share a room with people but they're in the same boat you're in and there's backpacker codes pretty much everyone abides by.I met the coolest most open people from alot of countries in hostels. Everyone was really nice to each other made friends by going to the clubs together and dinner and things. It's a better way to get to know the area through the people rather than a tour guide. Have fun and live it up! After all, no one knows you there and chances are you'll never see them again. It's super expensive though.
