UK Honeymoon?

my partner and I are looking for a hotel/cottage/resort to go to for our honeymoon within the UK.

We quite like the De Vere chain of hotels but are looking for other alternatives too - we would like someone where away from hustle and bustle - beautiful scenery and facilities to cycle and go walking, swimming pool would be nice but not necessity :)

Can anyone recommend any names of places?

Castle Green Hotel in Kendal is very beautiful

same as the Lowood Hotel right on the edge of Lake Windermere

or Storrs Hall which is very private down the other end of Lake Windermere, and if You don't want to stay in the hotel itself, they have log cabins.

Maybe looking at Warner Breaks would be good. They run adult only hotels/resorts.
You should come up to Scotland and stay in the luxury 18th century Cameron House hotel. Looks very castle-like. It's a 5 star and it's a favourite for famous people like golfers it sits on the banks of Loch Lomond in amongst mountains - beautiful!

Why not have a look at the Lake District. It is beautifull up there. Good luck
North Wales ... try Snowdonia good central location for beautifuil scenery and long walks in the mountains... or Anglesey ... loads of little holiday cottages to stay near to beaches and walks etc ... just google it and see what comes up but you will love North Wales!
could try Salcombe, South Devon, Tourist Information - beautiful area - lived there myself
i agree with little bear the castle green is beautiful i was going to get married there but it was to far for my hubbys Nana to to travel
