Travel Info Is there enough to see in York, England to stay two days? Travel Tips Oh Yes! York is a BEAUTIFUL city full of history and character! My husband and I planned on staying there for an overnight on the way to Edinburgh a few years ago and we wound up staying 5 days! We fell in love with the place. The Minster will take two days, at least, just to look at...oh that Rose window! I miss it now that you've mentioned it :) Really a lovely city, don't miss it! Others I think so - mainly because it is so crowded. I went there but was with a tour group and only had part of one day to spend there which was not enough in my opinion. Me Depending on you interests, there is enough to keep you busy for a week My wife and I have been coming there every year for the last 10 years and we always find something interesting every time. We usually stay for two weeks each time. definitely! There's the town centre which is FULL of shops and there are so many other areas of York.. theres a big cinema too! |
