Should I go to Glasgow tomorrow? |
Travel Info My friends and I have been planning a child free shopping trip to Glasgow for a couple of weeks now (we needed to sort out babysitters and make sure we had the cash to go) but after todays 'terrorist' events, I don't know what to do. We're from Edinburgh and were planning on getting the train in the morning. Should we go? What would you do? p.s there are shops in Glasgow which we don't have in Edinburgh, that's why we're going through Travel Tips save your money and go next weekend. the shops will still be there. Others Yes go .. they've 'done' Glasgow now .. safest place in the country! Why not, people still went shopping in London during the IRA bombing campaigns and still went shoppng during the Blitz Go. We can never predict where these people are.We have no idea if we are safer in one place than another. That is exactly what they are trying to achieve.Don`t let then win. You`ll be fine. Go and enjoy yourself. Life is good. We can`t let this scum change us. Always!!! And in the meanwhile act like a dissaster tourist and visit the airport. if you don't go then the terrorists win. they want to scaremonger us into not gong anywhere for fear of being attacked. you can't stop doing the things you want to just because of recent events. i mean people still went on planes after 9/11 and on the subway after 7/7 didn't they? i think you'd only regret it if you didn't go. By changing your minds and staying home, the terrorists have won. I would tell them to PISS OFF and let's go mates. |
