Im a bit confused as a person i know has a full driving license and the person is 17. What are the ages for provisional and full license in the UK.

You can drive at age 17 (unless you are disbled when it is 16). You get a full licence by passing a test - this may be while you are still 17 or later - there is no age limit.

Prov at 16, full at 17. If you pass.
On the prov, you can't do a lot. 49cc bike with L plates on, and learn to drive in a car (With a fully qualified adult) and L plates on the car.
For a car it is 17, for certain restricted motorcycles it is 16.
Same age for both provisional and full license.
you need to be 17 before you can apply for a provisional car licence. once you've got this, its up to you when you pass your test.
