Travel Tips i wouldnt say there is much in manchester/birmingham because alton towers is not far from stoke-on-trent, best thing to do is go on aa route planner and type it in from there :D Others no birmingham is closer, i live by alton towers. when we went a couple of years ago we flew to east midlands airport, but it is still quite a bit to travel, there are no airports really near, the reason we did that was my dad was already visiting family about half way between so he came and picked us up at the airport and took us to alton towers depending where u live u might be better driving East Midlands is the closest major airport. There is not much in it between Birmingham and Manchester (cross country, Manchester is closer distance wise). No. The nearest Aiport to Alton Towers is either Manchester or the East Midlands. |
