Top ten site in Wales?

Travel Info
my parents are coming to visit me next months and we're gonna travel accross Wales, can you please list Wales' best sites in your opinion, so I'll prepare myself in advance? thanks...

Travel Tips
Try the Visit Wales web site for some suggestions but here are mine:

1 鈥?Cardiff of course, the castle, Castell Coch, Cardiff Bay, Llandaff Cathedral, good old fashioned boating on Roath Park Lake. Museum of Welsh Life in St Fagans, and don鈥檛 forget the National Museum of Wales with the second largest collection of van Goughs in the world.

2 鈥?Newport not an inspiring place in itself but it has a splendid almost complete medieval boat and a ride across the transporter bridge may be worth while.

3 鈥?The Valleys and industrial Wales: either the World Heritage Site of Blaenavon and the Big Pit or the Rhondda Heritage Museum (more or less the same thing and nearer to Cardiff), Merthyr Tydfil can be said to be the caldron of the Industrial Revolution and was the site of the first steam railway.

4 鈥?Swansea the transport and maritime museum is worth a look, then there are the splendours of the Gower Peninsula.

5 鈥?Further along the coast at Llanstephan is Dylan Thomas鈥檚 boat house where he wrote much of his work.

6 鈥?Tenby and the Pembrokeshire coast are both spectacular places with views that will rival any in the world.

7 鈥?Cardigan Bay for the same reason and while you are there pop into Port Meirion a confection of an Italianate village overlooking a cove, you are probably not old enough to remember the cult TV series 鈥淭he Prisoner鈥?that was filmed here.

8 - The Llyn Peninsula the least inhabited part of Wales, all along its length the peninsula offers secluded bays and coves, miles of sandy sometimes deserted beaches and great opportunities for wind surfing or surfing per se. Visit the tip and take a boat to Bardsey Island.

9 鈥?Snowdonia (indeed any of Wales鈥檚 three national parks) on clear days climb to the top, or take the train, and the views stretch as far as the Isle of Man.

10 鈥?Any or all of the hundreds of castles, far to many to mention in full but Caernafon, Conway, Harlech, Beaumaris, Chepstow, Raglan, etc, etc,

11 鈥?While visiting these places try a ride on one of Wales鈥?famous little trains.

Should be enough for three weeks. Source(s): http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/home/...

Other Travel Tips
Harlech Castle, Conwy Castle, Cardiff Castle, Caerphilly Castle, Carnarfon Castle (all named after pubs in the areas concerned....), then there is Portmeirion (The Prisoner village), Blaunau Ffestiniog slate mines, Mount Snowdon (ride up in the train and walk down on a fine day!) and the museum opposite, all of the miniature railways, The Great Orme tramway...
That's ten off the top of my head and all done in day trips from Porthmadoc ! ! !
- and apologies for bad spelling of place names on my part in the absence of a map !
