Where should I go for Vacation? |
Travel Info My boyfriend and I want to take a vacation but are kind of tight on money. We live in the Chicago area and we are trying to figure out ideas of places we could go (besides Wisconsin Dells) that are decently priced and we could go for two to three nights in July. We will most likely drive where ever we go. We would also like a place where there are things that we can do (as in we don't want to be bored--LOL). I'll take any ideas for vacations or even fun road trips! Travel Tips If you want a "city" vacation try St. Louis! It's only about a 5 drive from Chicago down I-55. If you want fishing, camping, water sports type vacation try Land between the Lakes in Ky. Lake Barkley & Ky Lake would only take about 6-7 hours down U.S. 41 to WK Parkway! Others I like panama city Las Vegas. I know your tight on Money but it's LAS VEGAS!!!!!! Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. It's not too far from Chicago. Go to Door County WI and stay in Fish Creek. Get or take bicycles and ride around Penninsula State Park. Play golf if you are so inclined. Do not miss going to a fish boil. Make reservations NOW! Especially if you are thinking of 7/4 week. How about going over to Sandusky and going to Cedar Point and Sea World? Or maybe Mackinaw Island (it's in between the upper and lower penninsula of Michigan, if you haven't heard of it). you could go to pigeon forge tennessee or gatlinburg tennesse i dont know how far u want to drive though these are great places and its like the beach except for no ocean the atmosphere is great ,good luck |
