Driving out west from Minnesota - where should I stop?

Hi - I'm moving out to LA in September and am driving out there. What are some interesting/historic/fun things to see along the way?

depends on your route but here are some ideas. glacier natl park montana . yellowstone natl park,grand teton natl park, aspen,vail or telluride colorado , grand canyon, bryce canyon, Las vegas ,reno,lake tahoe , mount shasta cali,palm springs cali, deadwood south dakota, devils tower wyoming, lake havasu arizona....just to mention a few.

Don't think it's on the way but def. go to Chicago.

you can go down through texas and see where us mexicans crawl under the fence.
I used to live in MPLS and now I live in LA. I flew though. I would say stop somewhere in Chicago. If you go through Nevada, then stop by the Grand Canyon.
