Travel Info I need to know in your guys experience how hard it is to take say $500 or $600 bucks pack some stuff and just start walking. Not to go anywhere in particular. I'm considering doing just that. I'm done with my life. I want to get out of here. No where to go really, I just want to leave. Grab some clothes some money and that's it. Not looking for anyone to try and talk me out of it or anything because I haven't decided yet. I live in the northeast so I don't have alot of options on where to go. But what do you think. Anyone else ever do it? Just said screw it and left. Travel Tips Ive done that before, I went to NYC and rented an apartment for 1100 a month, no job or money, i ended up with a choice, be homeless, join the military or suck it up & go home, I went home. I always wanted to do it, if youve ever watched the movie The Beach, thats what the guy does in the movie, has nothing & he moved to Thailand or singapore or something, that appealed to me, however at the time I did not have a very happy homelife & it was the wrong decision, Ive matured and grown a lot and trust me, if you are having troubles, it is whats going on inside you that is the biggest issue and you will take that will you whereever you go, so you may as well identify the problem and focus on a positive way of making things better. You also may have something external in your life that is the problem and if thats the case sometimes you have to remove yourself from situations, I did that too. I found out I can only be around my family for very short periods of time, I cant tolerate them, I then moved to a different city, and I feel like i have made a home here and it was one of the best decisions i ever made. The difference between this time & the time I went to NYC was that I basically ran away the first time & cut contact with everyone, I didnt do that the 2nd time. Good luck, make wise decisions. Others man i felt like you did.... take anger and hate that you have towardz life and put ur head up and prove all the people wrong who thought you wouldnt make it. dont go n e where. dont screw up ur lyfe... speaking from experiance, not trying to talk you out of it |
