I'm considering moving. If you were in your late 40s and retired, where in the U.S. would you like to move to? |
Travel Info Any of the 50 States or U.S. Territories. Travel Tips The Gulf Coast, specifically Alabama and the Florida panhandle. Or the Virgin Islands. Others Hands down, Kauai, Hawaii. It's a nice semi-slow pace island with friendly people, beautiful beaches, no air polution, lush green plants and trees everywhere. Always something to do, or the best place to just relax. Guess it would depend on your interests. If you are in no rush and have the means, I might suggest driving around the country to different areas you've always wanted to visit. Sometimes when you get where you are supposed to be - it just feels right! Good luck with relocation and I hope wherever you land, it feeld like 'home'. I would suggest either the Gulf or Carolinas coast. Both are beautiful areas, and have a relatively low cost of living. As a single gentleman you will also find the "southern" ladies quite unique. I would totally eliminate anywhere in California and some of New England, it's just too expensive to live there. |
