I want to move to America...where is best? |
Travel Info In a few years (when I'm old enough!) I want to move to America. I need this stuff... 1. Warm or Hot 2. Friendly 3. Not to Expensive 4. Within an hour or so of the sea Can anyone suggest places with these things? I'd be sooo grateful for an answer! xx Thanks PS. I would have to come back to England to see my family quite regularly! Travel Tips A friendly place to live that's warm... Florida, South Carolina, Utah, Nevada, California, and even Oregon Within an hour from the ocean narrows it down to Florida, South Carolina, California, and Oregon Not very expensive narrows that even more down to: Florida, South Carolina, and Oregon but also, cost of living depends on what kind of city/town you want to live in. I prefer the medium-sized cities. For instance, the price of living in Portland, Oregon is quite high. however, Eugene, OR is pretty darn reasonable-- its a much smaller city though. hope this gives you some ideas. Others Detroit. Okay, I'm only kidding. How are you coming to America? Are you a citizen? Cause they don't just hand out visas to live, esp if you are young. The best way to move here permanently is to come by student visa. So you might want to look at colleges in America. Then after that, you can move to any city you want by working visa. The colleges you want might not be located in your ideal place, but when you graduate, you can get a good paying job in whatever city you like. This is what most people do. There are pleanty of cities in America that fit your criteria...mostly in California and Florida, Not California. We are full. Oh I know you will love Vero Beach in Florida. That's where I live. About 25 minutes away from here there is a beautiful beach where there are plenty of Sea Glass, and shells all over the place. There isn't many man-of-wars or jellies on the shore. There are plenty of beaches here. A beach in Jensen beach is less than an hour over here. Vero Beach is surrounded by beaches. Why do you think this town is called Vero Beach? Trust me is is warm over here. Not too hot on special occasions. Right now it is summer and it is not as hot as we thought it was. The gas prices are only $1.59 at minimum. At Walmart if you have ever heard of it, have great deals on prices every hour by the hour. There are at least 3 inexpensive waterparks over here in this county of Indian River. The movies, the mall, the gas stations etc. aren't that expensive. There are very friendly people here, like me. Schools over here are fine. Some people can be distractions like at my school. Please move over here. It's nice! north carolina.....or baltimore Florida. Call information and ask for Jeb Bush. He's rich and has a big house. He also has a young son who likes to get drunk in public. Not Detroit! If you don麓t mind some conservative culture, the SE fills all those requirements. North Carolina has mild winters. Some places in Texas are affordable but again, conservative. florida panhandle.stay away from atlanta, new orleans. califoria is great but expensive, yes, they are full. |
