Is it a bad thing if I take a drive with no purpose? |
Travel Info I had some extra money and was wondering if it was a bad thing if I drive two hours to my destination and two hours back home just for fun - to get things off my mind and sight-see? Travel Tips If you can afford the gas, consider it a mini vacation. Take the back roads, not the interstate. Stop at roadside stands for fresh produce in season. Pull over for a yard sale. Stop for ice cream. You might discover some neat little out of the way places you can share later. Put on your favorite music, some cool shades, open the windows, and enjoy the summer weather. Take along your camera. A good drive is often a great way to do some thinking and sort things out. Have fun! Others As long as you don't drive over the limit, don't bang on some other objects, cars, people, building, trees...you name it..., I don't see it is a bad thing. I take roadtrips across states for that =) Oh go for it, in fact can I come too驴 There's nothing wrong with it, it can be wonderful, just driving, taking in the scenery. No. Why would there be anything wrong with going for a drive? It would be a bad thing if you had no purpose! However you do have a purpose "to get things off my mind and sight-see" and it looks likes a destination too. Are you feeling guilty about spending the extra money on gasoline? If so, you could accomplish the same goals with a walk in the park. Avoid the "guilt trip" or the drive will be a waste of time. PE = personal experience |
