Is there a direct flight from Singapore to Connecticut ? |
Travel Info Is Connecticut a city/state by itself? Or is it part of New York City? Travel Tips First of all there are no direct flights to any part of Connecticut from Singapore. Connecticut is another state, which is very close to the two International airports (JFK in New York, and Newark in New Jersey) serving New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The best possible way to fly into New York/New Jersey area is either by Singapore Airlines, which flies directly into Newark, NJ (Flight time approximately 16 hours). Or By British Air from Singapore to London (flight time 14 hours), and then to either JFK, or Newark Airports (Flight time 7 hours). Another really convenient connection, and probably the cheapest, is via Emirates Airlines. Singapore to Dubai (Flight time 7 hours), and then Non stop to JFK airport (Flight time 13 hours). Depending on the type of ticket you purchase, you could also get a free night's stay in Dubai to break the journey, which is not bad at all. You get to see the beautiful city of Dubai and enjoy the hospitality of Emirates airlines. It really is a neat experience if you like sightseeing. Once you get into any of these airports, getting in to Connecticut is quite simple. At the arrival lounge, You can book a limo service to almost any part of Connecticut. It's inexpensive and quite convenient. They have shared limos running to and from both New York/New Jersey airports. The fare is under US$ 100. Hope the above helps. Source(s): Myself. I live in Connecticut and I travel to Singapore and Dubai quite frequently. Other Travel Tips No.... Connecticut is a state. it has nothing to do with NY, except it's next to it. if there was a direct flight, it would be a LONG flight! There is no direct flight. You could fly Singapore,Newark, Hartford I just picked a random date, but that is what I got.. I am a travel agent and so I just checked in my reservation system. Connecticut is a state east of New York. The only "international" airport in Connecticut is Bradley: http://www.bradleyairport.com (The only international nonstop destinations are Amsterdam, Montreal & Toronto.) Your best bet is to fly into any of the New York airports & take Connecticut Limo: http://www.ctlimo.com |
