Do you get wet on the ferry from Mackinaw to Mackinac Island? |
Travel Info We are getting married on Mackinac Island on August 4th, this year. A lot of our guests are staying in Mackinaw City and taking the ferry over and are concerned about getting wet. Should I be worried? Travel Tips You have nothing to worry about. In fact there's even a lower section that's completely covered where you wouldn't even get wet if it rained. Others What a bunch of fuss budget guests!! Tell them to sit inside or stay away from the bow of the ship. Not to worry no one will get wet O unless the ferry sinks All three ferry companies have boats with inside and outside seating. On the outside decks you MIGHT get wet on a really windy day, but otherwise no. Inside of course is completely weatherproof. You're so lucky, getting married at Mackinac. It's a beautiful place.
