Travel Info Is there a train that goes to Utah that I can access from a location closest to Toronto, Ontario, Canada? Travel Tips Yes there is, but it's not a direct train. You'd take train 7097, the "Maple Leaf," which departs from Union Station in Toronto at 8:30 in the morning. You'd then change trains at Buffalo's Depew Station and board train 49, the "Lakeshore Limited." If the trains are running on time, you'd have about a 10 hour layover in Buffalo. You'd change trains again at Chicago's Union Station and get aboard train 5, the "California Zephyr." Here you'd have about a 4 hr 45 min layover between them. Altogether it would take about 49 and a half hours to get to Salt Lake City (I'm assuming you're going there) from Toronto. Source(s): www.amtrak.com Other Travel Tips I KNOW you can get a train from Toronto to Chicago then on to Salt Lake, but Icannot find the route or schedule on Amtrak info on line!!! So, I think you need to CALL tehm for help with this. I am sure it can be done, just can't find the info right now. See the webpage below for contact info so you can call them and ask for the info you need. Good luck. http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/contentser... |
