Do i need any identification or a passport to go Niagara falls state park? |
Travel Info Well see im driving from new york to buffalo, new york. Niagara falls state park i believe is located in NY [if not tell me so] ...so i was just wondering if you need indentification or passport to go there. [plus im not crossing the border to canada] ! Travel Tips Niagara Falls, New York is in America and you don't need any special ID to go there. Of course you should have ID at all times, even in your home town, but that's a different issue. If you want to cross one of the bridges into Canada, where the casinos are, you will probably need ID and/or a passport, so check with the border patrol to verify. At this time you only need a passport if you are flying into Canada, but very soon they are planning to require a passport to drive or walk across the border. This would apply to the bridges over the Niagara River. If you haven't been there before, you should go. I visited for the first time last summer, and it was awesome!!
