Should I stay here in Houston for another 13wk assignment or move back to Dallas? |
Travel Info My assignment is almost done here. I'm having trouble deciding where to go next. I like my job here in Houston, but don't like the city. The company is offering me a $1,000 re-sign on bonus. I loved my experience in Dallas and found that I fit in with alot of the social activites there. I can get a job paying almost $8 more an hour there with another company...plus its closer to home (Oklahoma) Where should I go? Travel Tips $8 an hour more versus $1000.00 for 13 weeks (which comes out to less than $80 a week) Hmmm. Doesn't sound tough to me! Others Don't do either...move to Austin instead! MUCH more fun! go back 2 dallas!!! i mean ur ganna get paid more probably better city there rite??? i say go 4 it and u must luv ur hometown in oklahoma cuz ull b close i think dallas is better good luck! move to Dallas come on back now, y' heah? to the big D, I mean... Weather getting nice in Dallas, hope it has finally stopped raining. At $8/hr more, you will make up for that $1k in no time. I can take Houston for 3-4 days, but OMG, 13 weeks? in the summer? Go to wherever you think ultimately you will be more happy... $8 an hour more is a significant amount of money, but being happy at work and home is the best. |
