Im looking for an alternate way to New York?

Im here near Ft Campbell,Ky and is looking for a way to get to Syracuse,Ny faster then going through Ky towards Louisville, the Cinniannti,OH, Colmbus, Oh then Cleveland Oh, then Erie Pa then through Buffalo. I just hate driving through Ohio. Im willing to drive on small roads. Thanks

If you want to look online for a route the best one, especially if you want to try stay off the interstate is http://www.freetrip.com/

I'm not sure about the route in the other states, but you could try going route 20 from Buffalo to Syracuse. It's not a fast as the interstate, speed wise, but you have better views and nicer places to stop on the way. Less traffic too.
