Travel Info Have you ever been to Jacksonville Florida, is it a nice place to visit for a month? Travel Tips I live here and it's a great place. There are loads of things to do around here. You will keep busy! Others Yes, it is a nice place to go. Try the beaches. I had a friend who lived there. He said it was an ok place and that the beaches are nice - but not much else to do there. Do you have family there? I never did any extended stays, but it would not be too bad. Many things are close by in addition to the culture of the city itself. St. Augustine, is near, and Disney and Orlando could be a vacation within your vacation. I would not mind staying there for an extended period of time, however I also know a few people so it wouldn't be all touristy for me. Yes, I have for work. Jacksonville is a great city, especially Jacksonville Landing (Downtown at the Harbor.) Also, the NFL franchise moved into town a while back (Jacksonville Jaguars) And while there, be sure you eat the fish tacos (Mai Mai ummmmm they are delicious), and take long, relaxing walks in the white sand on the beaches!!!
