Travel Info Is stuff in oregon/west coast in general expensive? Travel Tips in general, Oregon is relatively cheap because there is no sales tax. Its beautiful there, and there is a lot to do. On the West cost in general you need to do some homework. Its pricey in a lot of places, especially the real touristy areas. Its so worth it if you have never been! Have fun! Others It depends where you are comparing it to. Compared to the east coast (NYC,DC,Boston, Miami), no not really. In fact Oregon is actually cheap compared to those cities. Also, from what I remember Oregon doesn't have taxes for restaurants establishments and other items, which is also a real plus. |
