What is there to do in napa vally besides wine teasting?? |
Travel Info for three people and one is a 13 year old Travel Tips Well I would stick to wine "tours" so that everyone can have the benefit of learning about and touring the vineyard. The 13 y/o could sit out at the end when they have the wine tasting. You could go to the Culinary Institute - that is famous; maybe you could get reservations to have them prepare a meal in front of you. You could also check out the "Old Faithful" geiser, if you've never seen one before. Outside of Napa there are a lot of day trips - obviously San Fran, but also other little towns like Sausilito. Maybe check out Alcatraz...Hope that helps. Others they have bumper cars where all the cars are wearing yellow hats...kinda creepy though...i dont trust a car wearing a hat...well, maybe a beret... You can go horse back riding or ride in a hot air balloon. You can also ride the wine train or go golfing.
