Going on Vacation?

I'm probably going on vacation soon. What are some good vacation spots anywhere in the America mainland besides Wasington D.C. or Atlanta?

Blue Ridge Mountains are a site to see. It goes from Nc into Tn. It's something everyone should enjoy at least once.

You haven't given near enough information. Update your question with your age, who will be going, some of your main interests, where you are starting from, and your budget and you will get a better answer.
Disney World would be fun for everyone and you cant go wrong there.

However, I think the bet vacation would be out west to some national parks. Arizona or Utah would be nice, but my favorite is northwestern Wyoming. Jackson Hole is the classic western town and the Grand Teton mountain range is next to town. About 45 minutes north of Jackson Hole is Yellowstone National Park. This place is heaven on earth. The scenery is amazing, the geysers are unlike anything you have seen, and the wildlife is some of the best on the planet. The weather is nice, but can be unpredictable.
